Women’s rights in Islam, Part-2/2
In a truly Islamic society women have the following rights in Islam:
1. The right and duty to obtain education.
2. The right to have their own independent property.
3. The right to work to earn money if they need it or want it.
4. Equality of reward for equal deeds.
5. The right to express their opinion and be heard.
6. The right to provisions from the husband for all her needs and more.
7. The right to negotiate marriage terms of her choice.
8. The right to obtain divorce from her husband, even on the grounds that she simply can’t stand him. (pls note that God deeply frowns upon divorce as a solution unless there is hardly any other alternative but it does not mean that men have more right to divorce their wives than women do.)
9. The right to keep all her own money (she is not responsible to maintain any relations).
10. The right to get sexual satisfaction from her husband.
11. custody of their children after divorce.
12. to refuse any marriage that does not please them
and more…
Here is an article taken from a speech which details some of these rights: http://www.themodernreligion.com/women/w_roles_ideals.htm

oh don’t be silly! …
oh don’t be silly! no one is trying to make men into women and women into men .. by the way, what exactly do you mean by “your culture”? do you even know my culture? you don’t even know where i’m from, so watch what you say or no one will take you seriously. there isn’t even a 40 year old culture currently!
men can be caring and loving fathers, that doesn’t mean they’re not FATHERS! this video has no argumentative validity…

how old humanity is …
how old humanity is? let’s say 100,000 years old. It’s been 100,000 years women are known to be MOTHERS, and men to be FATHERS, and now because your 40 years old perverted society tries to transform men into women and women into men, you think this is modernism !! you’re wrong

wooow, just because …
wooow, just because a woman more often goes to feed the baby in the night does translate to women being more compassionate toward children biologically. men can be just as patient, caring, compassionate, and loving to children if they were socialized to be that way and if they didn’t constantly essentialize women into the role of motherhood for their own convenience.
